This Spring Guide is made using a steel foot with a shiny nickel surface and a blackened nickel steel mandrel.
 
Quality material, heat treatment and surface finishing result in greatly reduced abrasion of the spring guide during shooting.
 
A threaded hole is drilled in the bottom part of the mandrel.
 
The spring guide also incorporates an axial ball bearing which allows easy rotation of the spring in compression.
This allows the spring to easily rotate during compression which significantly increases the service life of the spring.
