Want your TM Recoil to kick? 

This hand-made recoil weight is the perfect addition for any Tokyo Marui HK417 type buffer tube. 
Turned by Sam on his original Myford Super-7 lathe from brass and steel, this weight system features an internally damped core to decrease the initial pickup stress of the additional weight on the piston. 
 
The extra weight not only increases the felt recoil but also acts as a counterbalance for the RIF, allowing smoother handling for front-heavy setups despite the additional weight. 
 
The core can be made from your choice of brass, steel or tungsten in varying lenghts to adjust the specific weight and damping effect. 
 
Core Material:
Brass - gives a good intermediate weight with great longevity
Steel - a little lighter than brass but superior durability. Ideal for faster rates of fire!
Tungsten - the heaviest setup with superb performance all round. May not be suitable for higher rates of fire
Tungsten+ - If you'd like to really push the weight up, we can source wider tungsten rods however these are exponentially more expensive so drop us a line for a quote.  
 
Ideal paired with an Eagle6 enhanced shock spring for maximum kick!

If you have an original (gen-1) TM Recoil AR, we'll need to modify the design to clear the old internal locating lug so please do let us know if you have this style. If you're unsure, drop us a line and we'll help you figure out which buffer tube type you have.
