Sam will desolder the ESC from the Brushless brushless motor to allow access to the rotor axle. With the use of a custom pinion installation tool the Lonex Spiral pinion can be securely pressed in place. 
 
All Brushless motors axles tested so far, though featuring a D-Shaped end, do possess more than enough friction to hold the Spiral pinion in place.
